Company History

Rooz Iranian Technology and Management Company, as its name suggests, was established in 2008 with the aim of integrating modern technologies with management and economic expertise to support the development of businesses, companies, and organizations across various economic and social sectors. The company provides engineering, management, and economic consulting services; project and program management services; business development planning and implementation; technological systems development; specialized design and engineering services; and economic, social, and management studies for large companies, investors, and organizations.

The founders’ experience in the power sector and the telecommunications and information technology (ICT) sectors is summarized below:

• Management of major power plant, dam construction, transmission line, and substation projects, including Shahid Rajaei Thermal Power Plant, Shahid Mofatteh Power Plant in Hamadan, Ramin Power Plant in Ahvaz, Sahand Power Plant in Azerbaijan, Tabriz Power Plant, Tous Power Plant, Bandar Abbas Thermal Power Plant, Neka Thermal Power Plant, Shahid Montazeri and Eslamabad Power Plants in Isfahan, Zargan Power Plant, and several gas-fired power plants. This experience also includes the construction of several thousand kilometers of transmission lines, a major part of the backbone of the power transmission network, and major transmission substations with a total capacity of several thousand MVA, as well as participation in the construction of several major dams and highly specialized operation of power plants and transmission networks.
• Provision of consulting services to the Managing Director of Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran (MCI) in organizational development and project control.
• Establishment and management of the Project Management Office (PMO) of MCI in 2006 and 2007, with a focus on development projects.
• Financial and economic evaluation of companies, investment appraisal, and development of business plans in the telecommunications industry and other sectors.
• Preparation of business plans and pricing for telecommunications tenders, including Tender No. 59/83 for the development of the radio access network of MCI, valued at approximately IRR 3 trillion for a private-sector consortium.
• A comprehensive study and assessment of the economic, financial, market, and investment aspects of the ICT sector in Iran, commissioned by the Telecommunications Research Center at Sharif University of Technology’s Institute for Economic and Industrial Studies.
